Notre dessin illustre l\u2019instant pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant le ch\u00e2timent : l\u2019ange, convoqu\u00e9 par \u00c9lie, pointe le feu sacr\u00e9 d\u2019un autel tout en d\u00e9signant le ciel d\u2019o\u00f9 il tombera. Efficacement soulign\u00e9es de fr\u00e9quents traits de plume et anim\u00e9es par le contraste entre les zones d\u2019ombres et de p\u00e9nombre rendues par un lavis subtilement appliqu\u00e9, les figures s\u2019articulent savamment dans des espaces contraints. L\u2019ensemble appara\u00eet comme une sorte de magma fluide et mouvement\u00e9 d\u2019o\u00f9 jaillissent avec force des ailes, des v\u00eatements et des corps. Une qualit\u00e9 remarquable qui contribue \u00e0 replacer le Ricciolini dessinateur au rang qui lui est d\u00fb au sein du baroque romain tardif.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group eplus-wrapper has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center eplus-wrapper\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\"><strong>Encadrement et rapport d\u2019\u00e9tat<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-13 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--80);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--80)\">Nos dessins, mont\u00e9s \u00e0 fausse marge, sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans un montage de type Mariette et encadr\u00e9s dans une baguette dor\u00e9e (43,8 x 65,7 cm). Nous avons fait le choix de monter nos deux feuilles de mani\u00e8re espac\u00e9e, de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 recr\u00e9er la configuration de deux niches encadrant une fen\u00eatre, comme les mosa\u00efques de Saint-Pierre de Rome.
